Exploring Nature Through Art

Nature Pottery

Explorers search the marsh for natural artifacts like shells, grasses and flowers and incorporate these treasures into their own handmade pottery.

Cat Tales

Bring your preschooler to our fun and exciting story hour.  This program will combine learning with hands-on fun and creativity.  We will read a story related to the marsh and afterwards children will have the chance to make a craft. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Children’s Nature Series: Pollinator Power

Learn how this power pollinator works, where they live, and how they communicate. Do the wiggle dance and learn what you can do to help the busy bees.

Children’s Nature Series: Nature Detectives

Become a detective and discover the mysteries around us. Join in on a scavenger hunt, make your own nature notebook, and learn how to use the tools of the trade.

Location: Fields Pond Audubon Center, Holden

Tween Adventure Camp is for students who have completed grades 5-8.

Have an epic adventure this summer!  Adventure camp students will have the opportunity to explore an island, paddle a canoe, experience wildlife up close and personal, and make new friends.

Cost:  Member, $190/session, Nonmember, $220/session

Through the generosity of local businesses, organizations and individuals, partial scholarships are available for Maine residents who need financial assistance.
