Next session: August 13th, 2020

Free More Info

Nature-based play benefits a child’s physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development -- yet young children are spending more time indoors than ever before. The good news is that we don’t have to travel far to reap these benefits! In this live webinar, Maine Audubon’s Early Childhood Education Program Manager Molly Woodring will discuss how exploring “nearby nature” can promote independent play, strengthen relationships, and foster connection to nature, with a focus on strategies and resources for different developmental stages.

This free virtual event is first in a three-part series hosted by the Springvale Public Library.

A secure Zoom link will be shared with registrants via email on the day of the program.
