Students who will be 10-14 in August

may apply to Maine Conservation School at Bryant Pond near Bethel, Maine. Camp sessions include Woodcraft Skills, Primitive Skills and Naturalist Skills. The Naturalist Skills program was added in summer 2005 and focuses on learning the science and ecology of the natural world. In summer 2005 many of our campers applied for this program. Many of the campers who apply also love the Primitive Skills program where they report on building "debris huts," learning the edible plants of the area, wilderness first aid, and other outdoor self-sufficiency skills.
