Programs for Homeschoolers

Complement homeschool education with hands-on discovery programs at Gilsland Farm Audubon Center. Students will work with peers to uncover some of the mysteries of science and nature. Most sessions include a service project. These programs are intended for students only. Children should be prepared to spend time outdoors. Please bring a water bottle, lunch and appropriate clothing for outdoor adventures.

Children will be divided into developmentally appropriate groups. Each program will span two days so that students have the time and space to pursue thier questions and ideas.

Grades 1-7
Thursdays, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
April 3 and May 1

2008$55/member, $65/nonmember

Insects are everywhere! If you look closely, you will say "Wow, that is so cool!"

Advanced registration necessary for all homeschool programs.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

Payment is due in full at the time of registration.
A refund minus a $10 administration fee will be issued for cancellations if a replacement is found. If replacement cannot be found, a refund is not available.
If Maine Audubon cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.

Additional Information

Students should bring a water bottle, lunch, and appropriate clothing for outdoor adventures, as they will likely spend most of the time outdoors.
