Apple Day

A family day of celebration of the season, Apple Day is open to the public. Festivities include cider pressing, craft demonstrations, storytelling, face painting, live music, contradancing, nature walks, and an all-apple baked goods contest.

The Maine Audubon Nature Store will be open for shopping and to take orders for discounted birdseed supplies for the winter. The Nature Store also carries nature-related field guides and books, bird feeders and seed, children’s games and toys, Maine-made gifts, and Audubon apparel.

-Basket-making demonstrations
-Bird seed sale

Apple Baked Goods Contest

Bring your award-winning apple pie. Winners will be announced at noon.
