| Envirothon
The Envirothon is an ecology and natural resource competition for grades 9-12 in which students use their environmental problem-solving skills. Regional competitions are held around the state each spring with state finals held in late May. In an outdoor setting, students are tested in five ecology areas, aquatics, forestry, soils, wildlife, and a current national topic. Maine Audubon supports the Envirothon by actively participating in the competition as judges and supplying teachers and students with background information and resources.
