Aquatic Adventures
For campers ages 8-10
June 23-July 3 (no camp on
July 4)
Tubing down the estuary
exploring the "honey pots," catching crabs in tidal pools,
and playing water games are all part of the fun. In this two-week
session, campers explore, learn and play games involving the marshes,
streams, rocky coasts, and sandy shores. A highlight of this session
is a field trip to Wolfe's Neck State Park to explore Maine's coastal
ecosystems.
$340/member, $405/nonmember
Nature Neighbors
For campers ages 6 and 7
July 7-July 11
In this one-week session,
campers meet animals and plants that live in the various habitats
of the sanctuary. Creative projects, songs, nature explorations, and
group games are all designed to ensure campers feel comfortable with
the camp experience.
$160/member, $195/nonmember
Wilderness Ways
For campers ages 10-12
July 14-24
Pick up outdoor tricks-of-the-trade
in this two-week session designed to build confidence with wilderness
skills. Campers will create maps, use a compass, learn about outdoor
safety, take a night hike, and spend a night in shelters they design
and build. Camp ends 10 a.m. Thursday morning.
