Birthday Parties

Designed especially for children turning 4 to 9 years old, birthday parties at Gilsland Farm Audubon Center in Falmouth include an instructor, games and activities, a craft, and party bags with thematic favors for each child.

Pond Party
Ages 4-9
Celebrate a special day by exploring a special place. Learn who lives at Gilsland Farm's pond and make a fun craft.

Incredible Insect Investigation
Ages 4-9
Insects are everywhere; come explore how and where they live! You'll make and take home a model bug.

Ocean Adventure
Ages 5-7
Have a whale of a time learning about ocean animals. Experience a blubber glove, play a game about sharks, and make an ocean creature to take home.

Teeth, Tracks, & Signs
Ages 7-9
Become a footprint sleuth and learn how to identify animals by the signs they leave behind. Make your own plaster-of-Paris foot track as a souvenir to take home.

Additional Information

• A portion of each party will be outside; make sure guests dress appropriately.

• Parties are limited to 15 children each to ensure hands-on fun.

• At least two adults must attend the party.

• A galley kitchen with refrigerator is available for your use.

• Parents/guardians of the birthday child should plan to arrive ten minutes before the party to deliver the cake, beverage, and paper products.
  

• Guests should plan to arrive at the scheduled birthday party time.

• Balloons are not permitted at any Maine Audubon events. Thank you.
